Yes, so I made this blog today in order to write my random thoughts and also some things concerning the project developement, mostly with TeraMura in this case. First, thank you for reading this journal entry. Second, I’ll get to writing the random thoughts, mihi~…
So, today I’ve worked a lot on Tera to Mura to Wasuremono, the project that Lux VNs is doing at the moment. Well, it will be a long moment, though… ^^; If I’ll finish the linear story section in this month (which I probably will be able to do), that means I’ve finished about 10% of the whole thing in three months. You can do the math how much it will take to finish the whole thing at this rate. However, despite the math, for now at least I’m rather proud than worried about how much I’ve been able to finish. I’ve never really have been able to do anything this big before, and I’ve always been stressing about how inefficient I’ve been… But now, I’ve actually done something, and even that is an improvement to me. Besides I, as selfish as it is, love this project so much that if it will take 2 years of hard work to get the script done in this quality, it will be a short time. ^^
I was really inefficient last week, though. I had a writer’s block + the translations to Melty Blood ReACT and Kagetsu Touya were released… You can do the math and think about how much I got work done. But I don’t like forcing myself when I’m not really inspired, it will usually only result in forced-feeling, tangled text that is terrible to read… So, for the sake of the quality, I started working for real again last night.
Oh, and I could write something about Melty Blood ReACT and Kagetsu Touya now when I brought those up already anyway. I played through Melty Blood’s story mode just once, getting the Agitator ending. I have mixed feelings about it. For a fighting game, the plot isn’t certainly all that bad and some of the fighting scenes actually felt even necessary, but then again I didn’t like Sion very much – she reminds me of Saber, whom I don’t love either – not that I’d hate or dislike Sion either. I just don’t have any feelings about that character, and the path that I played really focused on her so I didn’t enjoy the story as much as I could have either.
Then, Kagetsu Touya… First of all, the combo with Takashi Takeuchi and Hirokazu Koyama in the CGs was amazing. They used the same artists in Fate/Stay Night too, sure, but I like Tsukihime and it’s characters more somehow. Especially the Hisui CGs can’t leave my mind, I loved those. ^^ I played the main story, Twilight Grass Moon already. I wonder if they meant Glass with Grass, it wouldn’t have been the only time for Nasu to do that mistake. I liked the feeling for the most of the part, but the ending felt somehow dull to me. I don’t even know why, but it did. I haven’t yet played all parts of Ten Nights of Dream yet, but I decided to start from the fan-based ones – yes, the three last ones are based on fan stories. I didn’t like Hisui-chan, Inversion Impulse! at all, actually, I just wished that it would end already all the time, but The Tohno Family Con Game was really enjoyable.
Uh yes. Now I shall probably release my first post, yay~! And don’t be afraid to comment, I’d love if someone would do that, actually. Even if you didn’t read the whole post. I’ll probably get back to the TeraMura script now, so… Nights.
